30 Day PLR Challenge – Day 8
By · CommentsYes, I have been MIA from the 30 Day PLR Challenge for the last 3 days. It was extremely hot here in Jersey this weekend and I could not even contemplate sitting down to breathe let alone write. Today I buckled down and wrote 2 articles for my blogging plr pack.
The one thing I have realized throughout this journey of making money online is that there are times when I will fail. I am not perfect. The truth is I get lazy, especially in the heat. The important part is to keep pushing and making progress, even if I am only taking little steps. Eventually the small steps will add up. I am not giving up hope. I will continue to plug along.
30 Day PLR Challenge – Day 5
By · CommentsI finally have my first plr article pack up for sale at PLR Content Mall. YAY!! It is a 5 pack on how to cope with a breakup. To say that I am super excited is an understatement. I purchased PLR ATM and DL Guard back in November of 2010.
I have spent the last 8 months procrastinating and jumping from one business idea to the next. Writing the content and uploading it is a step in the right direction. I also edited a plr article that I purchased a while ago and am using it as a giveaway to build my mailing list.
Thanks to Tiffany Dow’s 30 Day PLR Challenge, I have finally gotten some material up for sale. Today I did some research and gather another set of keywords for my next plr pack. This one is going to be on blogging. This is a topic I am extremely familiar with so I am hoping to knock it out quickly.
30 Day PLR Challenge – Day 4
By · CommentsWhile I didn’t write the 3 articles I was shooting for, I did get 1 done. This means I have officially completed my first 5 pack of PLR articles. I am beyond excited. I am going to reread them and clean them up for spelling and grammatical errors, have a friend review them, zip them up and upload them to PLR Content Mall.
I have the next three days off from work and my mission it to complete another 5 pack. During the week when I am working my full-time job I find that it’s hard for me to get more than one article written. So I am sticking to my original goal of 1 article a day during the week and I will push myself to do more on the weekend.
This challenge has really pushed me to get this writing done. I have slacked and it’s only day four but I have had the PLR ATM course since November 2010 and I did nothing with it. I’m really glad Tiffany issued this challenge.
30 Day PLR Challenge Day 3
By · CommentsAfter work I spent quite a bit of time running around and only got 1 article done. I really wanted to get three done but I guess 1 is better than nothing. I have a three day weekend coming up so my plan is to get at least 5 articles written between Saturday and Monday. Tomorrow I will write 3 articles whether it kills me. If I stay on task tomorrow, my first article pack will be complete.
I am going to have a friend read them and edit as nessecary then put them up for sale. This is all very exciting and scary at the same time. I want people to really like the articles and feel they got their money’s worth.
30 Day PLR Challenge Day 2
By · CommentsIt’s day 2 of Tiffany Dow’s PLR challenge and I have already slacked. No articles written today which means tomorrow I must write 3 in order to stay on task. I got home from my job and got caught up in watching TV. I am NOT giving up.
30 Day PLR Challenge – Day 1
By · CommentsTiffany Dow, author of PLR ATM, has issued a 30 day PLR challenge on her blog www.tiffanydow.com/blog. I’m excited and think this is just the thing I need to get my butt in gear. I joined the challenge and committed to writing one article per day. Tiffany is writing 5 articles per day while some are doing 2 per day. One article a day works for me because I work fulltime outside of the home.
Today I finished the 3rd article in my breakup plr pack. It feels really good to be one step closer to finally getting an article pack in the store. Tomorrow I will push myself to write two articles. I think once this initial pack goes up I will be motivated to continue writing.
The goal at the end of this challenge is so have 6 5 page article packs for sale. I have also contracted a ghostwriter. He happens to be a good friend of mine that is an amazing writer. Since I don’t have the money to pay him up front for the articles I got a little creative. We agreed that he will earn a percentage of each sale for the first 3/months once the pack is released. He can potentially earn way more than $10/article I would pay a ghostwriter.
We are working on a 3/month trial to see how it works out. Writing happens to be one of those things that I do not like very much so the extra help will come in handy. Have you taken the 30 day PLR challenge?
Slow Moving Progress
By · CommentsI promised myself that I would have a 5 pack of PLR articles uploaded to PLR Content Mall by July 1st and I didn’t. Here it is 10 days into the month and I have only written 2 articles. I changed the topic from French Bulldogs to breakups. It is a topic that I am very familiar with and it is easy for me to write about. I need 3 more articles before I an bundle them up and put them up for sale. Procrastination and laziness have taken over and I don’t know how to shake it off.
PLR ATM Review Part 4
By · CommentsYou might have noticed that in reviewing the ebook I did not comment on the videos. The speakers on my computer have not been working so I have not watched the videos. Once I get new speakers I will review the videos and update the reviews.
Step #7 & #8 - These two sections are short. Step #7 talks about the perks of owning a PLR site. Step #8 Shows you how to get organized so that you don’t go out of your mind. Owning and running a PLR site can be very rewarding but there is work involved. Tiffany includes tips on how to keep things together for easy access and a list of tasks to complete to get all the work done.
I really like PLR ATM and will shamefully admit that it is the first internet marketing product that I have purchased that I thoroughly read. I skimmed it the first time then went back and reread it with pink highlighter in hand.
I have my site, PLR Content Mall, set up with a domain, hosting, wordpress and DL Guard. The only thing left is to add my content. I definitely recommend this product to anyone that is looking to make money online. Tiffany Dow is a reputabe marketer whom I have followed for years. I trust what she talks about because I see that she is speaking from experience and not theory.
I will continue to update you on my progress with my PLR site and in the meantime you should invest in PLR ATM. I give it two thumbs up!
PLR ATM Review Part 3
By · CommentsToday I am continuing to write my articles but took sometime to review the next two sections of PLR ATM.
Step #5- This section was short but it got me the most excited because it’s about running specials to make quick cash. I mean let’s be honest who couldn’t use some quick cash? Tiff (yes Tiff because she is totally a friend in my head) explains the different types of specials she runs and for how long. One thing that I love about her is that she practices what she preaches. I am on her mailing list and I am a PLR customer of hers so I know that she really does run these specials. At the end she gives this one crazy tip on a special to build your list. I am definitely going to try that one.
Step #6 -Now we are finally at the promoting stage of the game. This section was a little repetitive for me because I have been in the internet marketing game for a while so I’m familiar with these marketing strategies. However, if you’re new to IM this is a good place to start. Tiffany runs through some of the common ways to promote your site and gives some examples of what has worked for her.
OK I am off to do some more writing. The goal is to get these articles up by July 1st.
PLR ATM Review Part 2
By · CommentsIt’s been a little over two months since I last posted. I was hit with a bad case of shiny object syndrome and lost focus. Over the last two months I purchased 3 new domain names and started two new blogs. When I realized that I was just chasing another dream without even finishing the one I started I picked up the PLR ATM book and continued with my review. I did some keyword research and started writing articles again. I have a big goal for November and I need to get the money rolling in.
I really enjoyed the next two sections of PLR ATM. I see the success that Tiffany has had with her PLR site and I am excited to launch this baby.
Step #3 - I love this step of PLR ATM. In this section Tiffany talks about content creation. First, she advises on how to go about hiring a ghostwriter. This section is really helpful because she tells you exactly what to ask of your ghostwriter and what criteria you should use in hiring a ghostwriter. Tiffany also points out that you can use your PLR and sell it as a
product with personal rights. I WOULD never have thought of that. The real money in this section is the do it yourself instruction. If you’re like me and strapped for cash at the moment, Tiffany breaks down how to create PLR articles, ebooks, reports and autoresponders. She even chooses a niche topic and includes a sample article. How sweet is that? This section was definitely left marked by my pink highlighter.
Step #4 - This section is about setting up your site and delivering your product. Tiffany explains how she boot strapped it at the beginning and gives you step by step instructions
on how to do just that. She recommends a few tools that are budget friendly. She also recommends a great not so budget friendly tool, if you can afford it, that automates the
sales process for you. I went ahead and purchased DL Guard because I had the extra cash at the time, thanks to my tax refund, and I have no desire to sit by the computer all day and
night waiting for orders to come in and then email out each individual order. I was able to set up DL Guard with the instructions the creator provided and I didn’t break anything. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too. Another reason I like this section is that Tiffany goes into the pros and cons of selling your PLR packs individually versus membership style.
She shows you how to get started with everything from purchasing a domain name all the way to installing wordpress and using DL Guard to protect your files. She wraps up this section with stressing the importance of building a list of PLR buyers. I use Aweber for my list and have been using them for years. They are reliable and not too expensive.
My favorite step by far is #3. Since I plan on initially writing the PLR content myself and then outsourcing as I start to make money, this section really helps me out. Ok I am off to finish writing this article pack on French Bulldogs.
